UK:
Your order will be packaged and sent within 3-5 working days of purchase. I often send orders out more quickly than that though.

UK orders will be sent via Royal Mail Signed For First Class or Tracked 24 (£5 flat rate)

If you would like me to send a gift directly to a recipient at a different address to save on extra posting, then the option to do so is available at the checkout. If you would like to add a personalised note in too, then just send me an email in response to the order confirmation email you receive.

IRELAND:

Delivery to Ireland is on hold due to problems with customs and An Post upon arrival in the country.

EU AND NORTHERN IRELAND - DECEMBER 2024

Unfortunately, due to the new GPSR rules implemented by the EU, I will no longer be able to send orders to EU and Northern Ireland. I’m hoping that in the future, more information will become available to help small businesses to work around this.

USA: AUGUST 2025

Unfortunately, I am temporarily suspending delivery to the US due the scrapping of the the De Minimis Exemption that allowed small businesses to ship products to the US under $800 without incurring any duty or taxes.

The removal of the De Minimis customs threshold came much earlier than expected, with only a month’s notice for everybody, so it is unclear how best to proceed. There is still a lot of scrambling around within the postal services and online shop providers to try and find ways to add this new tax and adhere to the rules. 

I’m hoping to be able to apply the new sales tax at checkout to ensure smooth passage into the US postal system. My website provider is not making this easy though, so I’m still doing my research! 

Hopefully I’ll be able to find a resolution soon and I’ll send out an update via this newsletter once I get there! 

ELSEWHERE:

If you would like to place an order from anywhere outside the UK, please email me beforehand if possible to check what the current situation regarding international postage. I will be very happy to help if you have any questions.

The delivery time for international orders will vary according to location.

PLEASE BE AWARE: All international customers are solely responsible for all duties, import taxes and brokerage fees. These are fees set by your country and they are not included in my shipping charges.
 

PACKAGING

Where possible, I use packing materials recycled from other businesses. Pots are packed in boxes filled either with biodegradable packing noodles or recycled shredded paper and jewellery is delivered in environmentally friendly Jiffy Green padded envelopes. These have a 100% recycled paper fibre lining and are fully recyclable, biodegradable, and compostable. I will be switching to paper bubblewrap and paper tape when I run out of my current supplies.

RETURNS

If you wish to return an item for a refund, you can do so within 14 days of receiving it, provided that it is undamaged and unused. You are responsible for the careful return of the item and all returns must be sent via recorded post with a tracking code provided. Please contact me at info@katietimson.co.uk beforehand.
